Bio:
FAVORITE PART OF CAL GAME DAY: My favorite part of the Cal game day experience is the "GO BEARS" cheer that goes back and forth across the stadium and Haas Pavilion between the students and alumni! I am especially excited to be back at Memorial this year, where even from outside the stadium, blocks away, you can hear all the Cal fans roaring with excitement as they yell "GO BEARS!"

FAVORITE CAL TRADITION: My favorite Cal tradition has to be, without a doubt, all of our fight songs! I take pride in knowing the words and singing along with the other spirit groups and students whenever I get a chance!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO IN BERKELEY? There are so many amazing opportunities at the University of California, Berkeley and in the city of Berkeley...it is hard to choose just one! If I had to, I'd say that walks with good friends around our campus, especially at night when the Campanile is lit up, is my favorite thing to do in Berkeley! I love admiring all of the Campanile's beauty and inspiration.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST EXPERIENCE AT CAL? The greatest experience I've had at Cal is being able to appreciate and admire everything that this amazing University offers every day. As a member of Cal Cheerleading, a campus tour guide, and a participant in the ASUC, I am constantly surrounded and reminded of the fervent Golden Bear spirit that encompasses this school, the students and faculty, and the incredible accomplishments they achieve.

MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE AS A CAL CHEERLEADER: I have created so many memories as a Cal Cheerleader, but to pick a few:

Football Season: Cheering in the rain at the game against Washington State! Even though it might sound miserable, it was definitely the most fun game of the season!

Basketball Season: Hands down, the "Gold Out" game against Arizona! The crowd at Haas Pavilion was so pumped, giving the game such an amazing energy! It was incredibly fun to cheer at, and even though we lost, I still count it as one of the most memorable and awesome games of the season. (Of course, I prefer when we win though!)

FAVORITE QUOTE: "The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone." - The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Mitch Albom

WHERE WILL YOU BE IN 10 YEARS? In ten years I hope to have graduated from law school and have returned to the Bay Area after living on the East Coast for some time and traveling the world, ideally working at a law firm in San Francisco that specializes in Intellectual Property. I also hope that I will be married and on my way to starting a family. My kids will of course be raised as Cal fans since they will be future Golden Bears!

WORDS TO LIVE BY: "Roll on, you Bears!" This motto can apply to anything in life- not just football. One should always strive for their goals, keep pushing forward, and never give up. Even when things get difficult or don't go your way, it's important to always "roll on." (Especially if you're the Cal Football Team and you just made it past the 50 yard line) Go Bears! :)
