Bio:
Tara graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and has worked with Universal Cheerleaders Association for the past 10 years. She has traveled to China, India, Germany, England & Australia to train cheerleaders and coaches on behalf of UCA. While in China she was part of a 5 person team selected to implement the Varsity China brand in Beijing. She's been an International Ambassador at the Cheerleading Worlds to teams China, Japan, Germany, Scotland & England. Tara is an AACCA Instructor & choreographer for UCA's summer camp material. She has coached at the high school & all star level including 3 nationally ranked teams. She was a competitive elite gymnast and coached gymnastics, as well as cheerleading, throughout college. She was the Northern California State Director and prior to accepting that role, was on the Core Training Staff for UCA instructors as well as the hand-picked College Training Staff. She holds her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and trains clients at Burn and Pilates ProWorks in San Francisco.





Lisa Keys

Position: Assistant Coach

Hometown: Modesto, CA

Bio:
Lisa has been a cheerleader for over 18 years. She graduated from UC Riverside with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. While at UCR, she was actively involved in Pi Beta Phi, and was a cheerleader for the Highlanders. She has worked for Universal Cheerleaders Association as an instructor for the summersí of 1999-2004 as a head instructor until she became the State Director for Central & Southern California and Hawaii from 2004 until 2010 and is currently the West Coast Assistant Regional Manager and West Coast Staffing Director. Lisa has coached UC San Diego and San Diego Mesa College. She is currently the competition head coach for the nationally ranked Mira Mesa High School in San Diego and head coach for St Marys High School out of Stockton, CA. She is also an AACCA safety instructor.
