Appearance is an important part of the selection process - you must look game ready during the actual try-out & follow the below guidelines.

Ladies
You may wear natural make up and your hair back, out of your face. Please wear solid colored t-shirts or sport tops with athletic shorts (no spandex), white socks and tennis shoes. No jewelry will be allowed during the try-out day.

Gentlemen
You must be clean shaven and have trimmed hair. No earrings! Please wear solid t-shirts, gym shorts, white athletic socks, and tennis shoes.

Required Skills

Tumbling
Tumbling is not mandatory but an added bonus for the 2012-2013 team. Please demonstrate any tumbling you have during try-outs. We would like members to have a back handspring, standing back tuck and running tumbling. (Tumbling is not currently a requirement, but a plus)

Partner Stunts
We would like to see both coed and all-girl stunting. Try-outs will be an open workshop style where you find partners and work on your stunts. If you do not have experience do not worry, we will work with you and can recognize potential while learning. Requirements based on overall talent level of participants.

Cheer Skills
You will learn 3 cheers during the try-out clinic then be given one during your individual try-out. Material should be executed in a collegiate manner, conducive to college athletics. Excessive facials, arm waving, and wide motions are not encouraged. We're looking for crowd leading ability, voice-projection, motion-technique.

Fight Songs
You will perform the fight song as an important piece of the try-out. This is performed throughout the season at all games, events and performances. We are looking for strong motion technique and confidence.
